Who we are
Source is an advice, information and support directory for all adults in Bournemouth, Poole and Dorset, particularly those with care and support needs. This website is a partnership between Bournemouth Borough Council, Borough of Poole and Dorset County Council.
Source has been produced by the councils, voluntary organisations and focus groups consisting of a cross section of adults with care and support needs and their carers. The look and feel of the website has been greatly influenced by the views of these focus groups.
Mission Statement
Source is a directory of information people can use to learn about the choices available when they need to organise support to live fulfilling lives. This will be available to all groups in a range of formats and accessed via the Source website, telephone help lines and face to face interaction.
Vision Statement
To create a way for people to access information, services and support which helps them to make positive, creative and informed choices enabling quality of life, personal fulfilment, health and well-being.
