  World Osteoporosis Day

The New Forest Suite,

Heathlands Hotel,

Time: 10:00am - 12:00pm

Osteoporosis 'porous bones' causes bones to break easily (fragility fractures). Leading an active lifestyle can halve your risk of breaking a bone, particularly your hip. This is why Osteoporosis Dorset is holding a free event to coincide with World Osteoporosis Day (20th October 2009), which will provide an important focus for informing and educating the general public about the prevention of fragility fractures.

People will be able to: hear talks from local experts on bone health and preventing falls; participate in an exercise session suitable for people of all ages. All they need to wear is loose clothing and flat shoes.

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO ATTEND, YOU NEED TO APPLY FOR A FREE TICKET BY CONTACTING OSTEOPOROSIS DORSET ON 01202 443064.
